Education Background
Song Guoli, received his BSc degree (1990) and his MS degree (1998) in Plant Genetics and Breeding  from Central China Agricultural University, China, and his PhD degree in Plant Genetic Breeding (2004) from the Graduate College of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), Beijing, China.


Research Area

Dr. Song Guoli is leader of the Cotton Genome Sequencing Program at Institute of Cotton Research,Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS)

Dr. Song Guoli has focusing on cotton genome analysis and cotton functional genome research, And now he is organizing and directing the 863 program “cotton functional genome analysis and application” and the program of national natural science foundation of china:Map based cloning and functional analysis of dominant glandless gene Gl2e in cotton.7 awards have been granted to him in the past years by the province, ministry or the nation.
