Prof. Hong Zhang from Texas Tech University of the USA and Prof. Francis Marty have visited ICR-CAAS during 24th-25th June, 2015. 

Prof. Hong Zhang delivered a presentation as: “the progress of salt, drought and heat tolerance in cotton”, and then have an formal/informal discussions together with the directors and experts in ICR-CAAS. The consensuses in the cooperations of personnel training, platform construction and scientific research have been reached.

Prof. Francis Marty gave a presentation as: “Vacuole：from plant biology to agriculture？”. He introduced the latest progress in crop science especially the application of vacuole in agriculture, and then discussed the hot topics of cotton research with the staff members in ICR-CAAS.

Prof. Hong Zhang and Prof. Francis Marty have visited the scientific research center, state key laboratory of cotton biology, the farm for field experiments and the hall of scientific and technological achievements exhibition during their visit.
